Whitecotton, daughter of Salem Whitecotton and Eliza J. Coonrod, on 12 April 1882 at Osage, Crawford County, Missouri.11 Orlando H. Howe was Postmaster (Service post office was established with Orlando Howe, Postmaster until April 19, 1893 when Thomas H. Clayton became the postmaster.) on 30 March 1886.12 He signed a Trust Deed conveyed 40 acres of land to H. M. Ramsey as trustee to secure payment of two notes equalling $500.00 payable to W. H. Ferguson according to terms stated in the deed. on 4 May 1889 at Crawford County, Missouri.13 He purchased 65 acres of land along the Courtois Creek from Sylvanus Harman. This deed was acknowledged on 21 August 1889 by William A. Pen?? Justice of the Peace and recorded on the First of Nov. 1889 at 2:00 40 Minutes P. M. by W. C. Evans, Recorder on 13 August 1889 at Crawford County, Missouri.14 He Sheriff's Deed under Trust Deed Sale executed by H. P. Farrow, Sheriff of Crawford County, MO to sell the property that was conveyed to H. M. Ramsey Trustee and H. M Ferguson in a Trust Deed dated 04 May 1889. on 26 March 1892 at Crawford County, Missouri.15 He sold 65 acres of land along Courtois Creek and Warranty Deed was recorded on the 17 December 1894 at 10:00 A.M. by Ed Selp, Deputy on 15 December 1894 at Crawford County, Missouri.16 He died on 8 March 1897 at Olyphant, Arkansas, at age 54; killed while on train tracks walking with two twin sons from Little Rock, Arkansas to Steelville, Missouri.10
