He became a CPA in 1969, working for Roundy's as a Controller, Treasurer and Vice-President-Finance. At the time he retired after 31 years at Roundy's, he was the Executive Vice-President.2 John Wendell Andorfer was employed at the Roundy wholesale food distribution company for thirty years until his retirement on 31 December 1986; Roundy's, Inc. On 1 April 1987 the Andorfers (John, Millie, and Sheila) moved from Wauwatosa to relocate at W333 S309 Glen Oaks Drive, Delafield, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. He became a member of the Mayflower Society on 13 July 1995; Mayflower Society Wisconsin Society No. 1,021, General No. 61,764.3 He died on 30 September 2009 at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, USA, at age 76.4 He was buried on 3 October 2009 at St. Jerome Cemetery, Oconomowoc, Waukesha County, Wisconsin.4
